Here at The Heights, we have a rich heritage of supporting missions. This stems from God’s words in Mark 16:15, “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel”. The way we accomplish God’s heart in missions is by partnering with local, national, and international ministries around the world. Currently The Heights church supports 25 ministries in 20 nations. As a part of our core values, we have always given 10% of what comes into the church back out into missions. The first 10% of that 10% goes to Israel and Israel related ministries. We are excited to share that in 2018 we were blessed to give 30% of our overall contributions to missions.
The exciting part of connecting with missions is that you are connecting with the heart of God. You can experience this joy and excitement as well. Scripture tells us to bring our tithes into the storehouse that there may be food in God’s house. Then God tells us that He will bless us by opening the windows of Heaven and pouring out blessings upon us that we do not have room enough to contain. I believe this blessing is for us to be a blessing. For we know it is more blessed to give than to receive. God also tells us that if we give, it will be given unto us, pressed down, shaken together, and running over. So to the level that we give to the needs of others will be the level of the blessing that God pours out upon us.
Let me ask you the question, How will you go into all the world and preach the Gospel? Will you consider becoming a missionary? Will you consider joining us on one of many missions trips this year? Or will you partner with one of these missionaries to take the gospel to the unreached people of the world? What I can tell you is that when you give to missions, you give to God and God gives generously to the generous.
Please continue to pray for each of these ministries and missionaries that God’s hand of favor and success would be upon them.
We encourage life giving friendships between Americans and International Students. We do this through English Conversation Partners, Chi Alpha Welcome Events, and the Discover America Program. We also take excursion trips to help students understand American Culture. To meet their real needs of coming to know Jesus Christ our desire is to move students from friendship to leadership. To accomplish this, we proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ one on one, at small groups, Chi Alpha worship services and retreats/conferences. We also hold Evangelistic Dinner Discussion Parties for International students. As students come to know Jesus we disciple them to lead others to come to know Jesus.

European Initiative exists to ignite a spiritual awakening in Europe by mobilizing teams of Christians to reach the lost and equip the church. We mobilize teams of Christians from America and other nations to reach the lost and equip the church in Europe. Our ministry focuses on five initiatives to ignite a spiritual awakening in Europe: evangelism, compassion, teaching, prayer, and Jewish ministry. Teams and individuals partner with us in one or more of these initiatives to make an eternal difference in this lost continent.
We exist to lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church. We pursue our vision and mission through the strategy of “to and through” the coach. We seek to minister first to coaches hearts, marriages and families. Then, when ready, we minister through coaches to their fellow coaches, teams and athlete leaders. Billy Graham said, “A coach will impact more people in one year than the average person will in an entire lifetime.” With the influence of a coach, FCA recognizes the most strategic way to reach more athletes is to first reach the coach. - The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is touching millions of lives…one heart at a time. Since 1954, FCA has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high and youth levels to use the powerful platform of sports to reach every coach and every athlete with the transforming power of Jesus Christ. FCA focuses on serving local communities around the globe by engaging, equipping and empowering coaches and athletes to unite, inspire and change the world through the gospel.

Southern Asia Leadership Institute provides leadership training for committed young people. Our vision is to train and develop the next generation of leaders; leaders with integrity, character and a heart for worshiping God for who He is. We also provide continuing education for pastors and ministry leaders through leadership conferences in different parts of India. Every week, a team of pastors and volunteers go door-to-door in villages sharing the life changing message of Jesus Christ. This evangelism outreach is held every week in a different village, reaching hundreds of people in that village with the Gospel message. Over the course of a year, we are able to reach over one hundred thousand people with the life changing message of the Gospel.
A ministry compelled by the love of Christ to reach out to and come alongside others; bringing wholeness to the body, soul, and spirit; healing for yesterday, help in today, victory in tomorrow. Attacking poverty one person at a time. To attack suburban poverty barriers that hinder individuals and families from living in the fullness of Christ. Mental Emotional, spiritual instability. Lack of affordable and accessible medical care, education and vocational opportunities, childcare, transportation, housing, and lack of employability.
Our mission is family and relationship. We seek to make Christ known through serving the ‘widow and orphan.’ James 1:27 First, we are a family and home for orphaned and abandoned kids. We strive to do what all parents do, by feeding, loving, educating, disciplining, and caring for all the needs of the precious children entrusted to our care. We serve “at risk” children in their family units by providing educational and nutritional support. We seek to support education for children and mothers through our tutoring program, our preschool, and our volunteer program. Our ministry strives to reach our community for Christ through outreaches, service projects, and participating in community life.
We equip leaders who reach the Jewish people. Our mission is to educate, equip and empower leaders for Jewish ministry around the world. It is truly that straight-forward. MJBI is one of very few ministries committed to discipleship, training and education; for those with a calling to Jewish ministry living outside the Land of Israel. Our impact reaches all across the globe. We are actively training leaders in five major continents: North & South America, Europe, Asia and Africa. Our donors are investing in the lives of men and women who are planting congregations, ministries and leading other organizations that are blessing the Jewish people globally with the love of Yeshua, the Messiah. We are working in Argentina, Ethiopia, Hungary, Israel, Russia, Ukraine and Zimbabwe. Also there are a number of possible opportunities that we are prayerfully considering. This fall, in Warsaw, Poland, the MJBI will launch the first ever Messianic Jewish Studies seminary degree in European History.

We exist to increase the ministry workforce, provide reliable transportation for the ministers in Pakistan, stimulate the local Pakistani economy, provide ambulatory care to the “Untouchable”, and help provide an opportunity for quality education for those who would not have it other-wise. Ten.14 Ministry’s goal is to help both the local community and the Christian community by meeting the demand of quality education. In addition to the work in Pakistan; we teach seminars/conferences on Cross Cultural Outreach, as well as minister in prayer and counseling as the Lord is bringing so many needy people across our path. We travel across the United States and other parts of the world to teach and preach.
Our vision is to impact and change the global crisis of forgotten, abused, and discarded children and widows in developing countries by providing self-esteem and value through education, housing, food, and health care. Orphanage in Guatemala: Our children are rescued from sex-trafficking, violent abuse, and from wasting away through malnutrition and neglect. They walk through our gates into healing, health, hope, and abundance. We are Turning Orphans Into Royalty. When children are brought to Casa Angelina, they are not just provided for but are also rescued from a destructive path that would lead to the cycle of poverty, abuse, and brokenness continually repeating itself through the generations. Our goal is not to simply provide them with a safe place but to go beyond that and provide them with a fertile field to plant their dreams and, in many cases, to dream for the first time. Medical Clinic—Mercy Clinic is our medical facility at Casa Angelina and is located at the entrance of the orphanage complex. At Mercy Clinic, we employ a medical director, pediatrician, general doctor, nurse, lab technician, and social worker. There are two entrances to the clinic—one used by the villagers who come for care and a private entrance for the children, staff, and volunteers of Casa Angelina. Every day the medical staff treat the local villagers from 8 a.m. to noon, seeing a minimum of 28 patients. Widows—In Guatemala they have very little support or care if they don’t have a family. That is why we began an outreach program to identify and help this often forgotten group of people. We began a few years ago, and we have quickly grown to support 24 widows. Africa—Clinic and Feeding Programs
We are about taking the message of Jesus Christ to nations that are hostile to the Gospel, & empowering local bodies of believers to support the spiritual and physical transformation of lives. World Compassion is made up of people who believe we can do the impossible. We understand no nation is closed to the permeating love of Christ. We are fully committed to reaching beyond cultural barriers and unsafe borders. We are passionate about bringing transformational change through the local church in hostile environments. We are not afraid of global stigmas, but rather are empowered by Christ to be an ambassador for the poor and powerless. We boldly venture into “the eye of the storm” to win battles and advance the Kingdom of God. We know with God all things are possible. World Compassion is changing the world.

We use medicine to teach, preach, and heal the sick. Our reach spans from house to house, in schools, churches, street meetings, feeding centers, villages, and clinics. We seek to reach people who are struggling with life so that we can present the Gospel and help them. Lost people are everywhere, but they do not perceive their need for the Gospel unless they are convinced that we are able to help them. Most of our work is done in Mexico. We train our staff in the practice of Natural Medicine, which is a good door opener even in areas which are not desperate for basic necessities such as food. The staff in Piedras Negras will often create ministry opportunities by either canvasing a neighborhood looking for needs or organizing a street meeting.
