We go into the juvenile detention centers, jails, and prisons to share the word of God. We will also share our own personal testimonies, love on them and show them that they are not alone. Our goal is to provide pen pals, visits, hope, and mentors. We will be Gods hands and feet in hopes to change the lives of those who have been affected by incarceration. This not only includes the inmates but their families as well.
Through a team of volunteers, we provide meals to church or community members in times of need. It supports the Body by living out the word of God to glorify Him through serving one another. This is a great way to meet people in our church as well as minister to non-believers in an effort of service. Not all of the meals we provide are to believers, and not all attend The Heights, but either way God uses us to fill the needs.
The heart of the Task Force is to fulfill the will of the Father. We believe that he sent his only son,Jesus Christ to not only be our savior, but to also be an example Of what living in love looks like. To be a true disciple of Jesus Christ by sharing who he is through acts of love and service using the very gifts that God has given each one of us ( 1 Peter 4:10).
“share what you have with others, for it is pleasing to God Hebrews 13:16
